THE SEA OF GALILEE - TIBEREAS

DESCRIPTION

We will meet outside Jaffa Gate at the Center Open Plaza. Our Guide will be holding a Twins Tours sign. We will drive along the Jordan Valley to the Sea of Galilee, which is rich in memories of the three years of Jesus' ministry around its shores. First at the Jewish shore are the ruins of Capernaum, Jesus home town. Next we'll visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish then drive up to the Mount of the Beatitudes, the scene of the "Sermon on the Mount". After a time of meditation and prayer, we will stop at the baptismal site on the banks of the River Jordan.
