About the event

The Gaza Strip Up Close- Virtual Tour

On our Gaza UP CLOSE virtual tour, we will be presenting a lot of information to help you understand the current situation, but the most important is to educate you to help understand both sides point of views.  We all agree that war is bad and it will always involve innocent suffering from both sides. As we can hardly beat to turn on our televisions news channels at the moment, because of what we might have to be looking at next in the recent Gaza- Israel war,.

Moreover, we will give you a little bit of a of background to the Christians in the Gaza Strip contemporary situation, to the numbers of the evaporating Christians. We need to emphasize that the hardships that the Palestinian Christian community faces, sharing a reality that is not talked about in the media as much. For it is important to know that, for a long time the Palestinian Christian community has faced existential threat and when we say existential threat we need to remind you that the percentage of Christians dropped in the last century from 20% to less than 1% in the Holyland.

And you know if we look at the situation in Gaza we are reminded that there only 800 Christian people living in Gaza, and for the last five months they have been stuck inside two sanctuaries: the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church, and will learn why even they are not safe there as well!
