Learn Hebrew Alphabets the Shema - Coming Soon

Knowledge of the original languages brings an understanding of the Bible that just can’t be reached through a translation. It’s not as difficult as it sounds though. There are only 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet and 12 vowels, called Nikkud. Most Hebrew students start out by learning the letters and their sounds, which isn’t very difficult with a little practice.

The Shema is a Jewish prayer that serves as a centerpiece of the morning and evening Jewish prayer services. Its first verse encapsulates the monotheistic essence of Judaism: "Hear, O Israel: the LORD is our God, the LORD is one", found in Deuteronomy 6:4

The Shema is regarded by many Jews as the most important prayer in Judaism. This is because it reminds them of the key principle of the faith - there is only one God. This is a monotheistic principle. This part of the Shema is taken from the Torah : Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One.

Together we will be able to read it and get deep into the Hebraic meanings of each word and also dive into the Hebraic interpretations of this important prayer that Jesus recited twice a day as a jew living in the first century.

One example:

The Shema says that God is personal and demands love from Jews with every aspect of their being. It also says that Jews should follow his instructions and allow this love to be seen. Many Jews will say the Shema every morning and evening as it is a very important prayer.

How do you pronounce Shema in Hebrew?

This will be very exciting!

We will learn even how to pronounce the Shema in a correct way, you will be pronouncing the same words that went out from Jesus mouth.
